About Us
Our Mission
We at The Harvest Church International exist to glorify and worship God, to connect people to His purpose for their lives, to love and care for one another’s needs, and to share His message of hope with the world.
Our Purpose
Our great purpose is to praise God for who He is and for what He has done, bringing Him glory (Ephesians 1:6, 12). God is ultimately glorified when people trust Christ and seek to develop a deep relationship with Him. As believers become more like Christ, they manifest the Character of God—His love, grace, mercy, power, goodness, sovereignty, and holiness—in their live, showing the world who He is and drawing them toward Him (John 13:35; Colossians 1:28). In pursuit of this goal, we will intensely pursuer these three major objectives:
Exalting the Lord
In everything that we do, we will seek to exalt and honor the Lord (1 Corinthians 10:31; Colossians 3:17).
Equipping the Saints
God designed the church to fulfill many purposes. One of the most important is “equipping the saints [believers] for the work of the ministry” (Ephesians 4:12). Because God has gifted each one of us in specific ways, we are called to use these gifts to minister to the body of Christ, in our communities, and throughout the world (Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Corinthians 12:4-28). We hope that every believer will ultimately grow to function as both a minister and an ambassador of Christ (Acts 1:8).
Evangelizing the Lost
We will always reach out to those who do not know Jesus Christ with His message of love and grace; fulfilling one of the most important commands He has given to us (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; Colossians 4:3-6).
Encouraging Each Other
The body of Christ functions not only to love god, but to love and care for one another’s needs (Acts2). God set us in the church as a way of meeting these felt needs. We are commanded to exist in loving relationship, both within the church and outside.
Our Hope for You
So often in our culture we ask questions like, “What can this church do for me?” “What can I get out of this church?” or “Am I happy here?” rather than asking, “Can I find truth here?” “Will I come to know God better here?” “Will I be able to build healthy relationships with these people here?” and “What can I give, how can I serve?”
We want The Harvest Church international to be a place where honoring God and building our relationships with Him and with one another are the highest priorities for everyone here. We hope you will join is in earnestly seeking to walk with Him in genuine, honest fellowship through the ministry of the indwelling Spirit of God.
